My name is Daniel De La Cruz and I run Dafotograf from Klinteby Frihed. As a specialist family photographer my focus is to preserve the small and large moments of family life — from newborn photography and child portraits to baptisms, confirmations and birthday celebrations. For me, a great family photo is more than technique; it’s about telling your story with naturalness, warmth and authenticity. My background as a TV photographer in Peru taught me to see stories and to sense timing. I work calmly and patiently to create a relaxed atmosphere where both children and adults can be themselves. Photography should be fun, engaging and creative — I aim to catch those spontaneous moments when personality shines through. I combine a documentary approach with classic portrait photography so you receive a varied series of images that convey mood, presence and connection. How I work: we always start with a conversation about your wishes, locations and the overall mood you want. Many families choose a place that means something special to them — a favourite path, your home kitchen or the nature near Sorø — but if you prefer we can also shoot in my studio. On the day I create a safe, relaxed environment, gently guide when needed and leave room for spontaneity. You are welcome to bring grandparents, partners or friends — family pictures often become the most treasured memories when multiple generations are included. You’ll receive the final images in a private online gallery where you can easily select and share photos. I offer professional image editing with an emphasis on natural tones and depth so each photo carries the right atmosphere. While my primary specialty is family photography, I also work with portrait and wedding photography — yet when it comes to family images I prioritise your story and the honest moment.
