As a specialist in family photography in Holstebro, my goal is to create images that feel honest and are worth hanging on your wall. My name is Anita Toft, and I work with families, expectant parents, newborns and children — always focusing on cozy settings, calm and plenty of time. I believe the best family photos happen when everyone feels secure and relaxed throughout the session. My approach emphasises presence over stiff posing. Sessions typically last two hours so there is room for breaks, laughter and spontaneous moments. We can meet in my cosy studio on Præstevejen in Holstebro, photograph outdoors in nature or come to your home — I’m happy to suggest local locations and plan according to season and light. During the shoot I show images on my large iPad, so you’re part of the selection process and can make adjustments as we go. My background as an early childhood educator shapes how I work with children and families: patiently, attentively and with a focus on creating security. This helps me put children at ease, capture small moments and ensure that children with special needs are met with understanding. I always prioritise the experience as much as the result — there’s coffee, tea or hot chocolate, a calm atmosphere and, most importantly, enough time. After the session I place your images in a private online album so you can choose at your leisure. Editing in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop is a natural part of my workflow, and I’m happy to retouch on request — always respecting that the photos should look like you. If we together feel we didn’t get the right images, I offer a reshoot at no extra charge.
