My name is Gitta Friis, and my greatest joy as a photographer is capturing life within families. As a local based in Vanløse with a cosy studio in Rødovre, I meet families at every age and stage and specialise in family photography with a soft, human touch. I focus on creating images that not only look beautiful but also hold the emotions and relationships you recognise from everyday life. My approach is calm and patient — especially important when children and newborns are involved. I don’t work with stiff poses; instead I use conversation, play and gentle guidance to bring out natural smiles and authentic moments. This means that even camera-shy children soon feel at ease, and you as parents can relax and enjoy your time together. The result is family photos full of warmth, presence and the little, unexpected moments you will cherish for years. I love adapting the session to your family’s dynamics — whether we’re outdoors in natural light at sunset, in a park in Copenhagen, or in my cosy studio in Rødovre.
